REMOTE GESTURE CONTROLL SOLUTION WITH FLEX SENSOR AND ACCELEROMETER

flexsensor.jpg

What can you do with a flex sensor

The merchandise of our company is not one particular thing, instead, it's a technology which can produce many different kind of product. Using a flex sensor with MQTT for communication, many goal can be easily achieved. We'll list some goal you can achieve by using technology supplied by us.

Gaming Glove

Gaming gloves with flex sensor catches your every move and let you control the game like your own arm. Actally the idea of flex sensor glove and gaming goes very well together. Imagine you are playing some kind of sports game. the glove can easily catch your motion and send data  to game server. The kind of experience can never be provided by conventional key board and mouse play.

Medical recovery equipment

Attach flex sensor to back of the leg, used to retrieve useful medical data, such as the bending degree of knee, send this information to medical server to monitor recovery process.

Sign Language Translate

Flex Sensor Gloves can also be used to translate sign languages for those who lost their voices. Although mute people has way of communicating by sign language, unfortunately it has not been understand by majority of people because price of learning it is just so high. With a translator like this one, sign language performed will be catched by glove, and later send  to a protable server by MQTT to process and display on a screen. By this way everybody can easily understand what sign language mean, and improve quality of living of those verbally disabled one.

How did we implement our prototype design

The technical detail

Let me explain the technical detail underline. First the flex sensor will change its resistance due to degree of bending. ESP8266 will collect this information and send it to a remote motor using MQTT. Once we can drive motor, we can drive something similar, say, a giant robotic arm. This could be somewhere not suitable for human to operate, for example, too dangerous or harmful environment or extreme physical condition. You can see the potential of application of our technology  is really huge
